Many students are concerned about the possibility of making mistakes in front of their peers. At the beginning of the school year, teachers can model the right ways to correct mistakes, deliberately making a mistake that students can quickly identify. Common mistakes: misspelling a word or letter, changing the format, inaccurate information, etc. Allowing students to find errors and correct text helps to develop self-confidence and give them the opportunity to take risks.

Daily news helps to make an easy transition to the choice of occupation or to the educational stage of the day. If the morning meeting gets too long, announcements such as a calendar, class schedule, and school affairs can be rescheduled.

Stimulating students’ interest

Because daily news is an interactive and shared activity, it encourages children to be excited about learning. Throughout the school year, teachers maintain a high level of interest through changes or adaptations of daily news. Changing the content, format and activities to meet the needs and interests of students supports a narrative ideas kind of challenge. Popular among students are a variety of greetings, complex lexical games and math puzzles, which are part of the daily news. Note that the main attention should be paid first to the content, and only then – to grammar, punctuation and semantics.

It is useful for teachers to share ideas with their classmates about the format, activities and content. In this way, educators generate a wider range of ideas for all age groups and receive useful feedback on their own new ideas.

Principals may consider introducing the practice of reading daily news through their school’s speakerphone system. Announcements may include the latest news about school affairs and events, security reminders, and specific classroom achievements.

When to conduct daily news

Usually, the daily news is the third component of the morning meeting that the class needs to be familiar with. As you introduce students to this section of the meeting, let them know that they should read the daily news after coming to class and before starting work or joining friends.

When working with young children, daily news is used to promote reading and writing skills. It is expected that during the meeting, younger students will read aloud about themselves, as well as support peers who are trying to learn to read and write. As students master reading and writing, their requirements change. Children need to show a higher level of independence and competence. Senior students read the daily news independently, independently perform tasks, take responsibility for the development, writing and posting of daily news (under the guidance of the teacher).

Priorities of educational activity

In the National Doctrine of Education Development, education is determined by one of the main priorities, the organic component of education. Therefore, the educational process in educational institutions should become an organic part of pedagogical activities, which is integrated into the overall process of learning and development

In recent years, many legal norms of education have been updated in the state legislation. The tendencies of creation of modern normative-legal conceptual-methodological space of education are defined:

Constitution of Ukraine; UN Convention on the Rights of the Child; National doctrine of education development in Ukraine; Laws of Ukraine "On Education", "On General Secondary Education", "On Extracurricular Education"; National program "Children of Ukraine"; Decrees of the President of Ukraine "On approval of comprehensive measures for the prevention of neglect and delinquency among children, their social rehabilitation in society" (No. 200/98 of 03/18/98), "On additional measures to prevent child neglect" (No. 113/2000 of 04.24.2000); Decree of the President of Ukraine "On urgent additional measures to strengthen morality in society and promote a healthy lifestyle" (No. 258 of 03/15/2002); The concept of raising children and youth in the national education system; The concept of civic education of the individual in the conditions of development of the Ukrainian statehood (project); Regulations on the class teacher of the educational institution of the general secondary education system; Regional comprehensive programs: "Civic education of the individual in the development of Ukrainian statehood" (2000-2012); "Regional program for the development of children’s and youth NGOs in educational institutions" (2000-2012); "Creative talent"; "Children of Dnipropetrovsk region".

These documents outline the general objectives of state educational policy. They determine the main purpose of education: the formation of a conscious citizen, patriot, spiritually and physically perfect, moral, socially active, creative personality.

Along with the general state purpose of education there is a task of the second level – it is the planned result of development of the student’s personality. This result is reflected by each educational institution in the "Personality Model". Structurally, this model can be as follows:

Creating a system of educational activities of the educational institution

A holistic educational system creates conditions for the humanization of childhood space, activation of the content of education, civic formation, individual development of personality.

Features of the educational system of a secondary school (city school)

System-forming activity focused on spiritual and moral, civic and patriotic, universal values. The stated theoretical-methodological and integral bases of the educational system should be confirmed by the diagnostic apparatus of studying its efficiency. The central position in the educational system is occupied by the relationship between the subjects of education, characterized by a special microclimate, a developed sense of freedom and responsibility of the individual. The best pedagogical teams are distinguished by the formation of the educational environment by the joint efforts of teachers and parents; the relationship of education, upbringing, extracurricular and extracurricular activities; use of the system of key cases; definition of target themes of education for each year; developed self-government, interaction of pedagogical staff with public associations. Pedagogical teams develop a model of the ideal student, graduate. This makes it possible to ensure the purposefulness of educational activities. Creating their own symbols (anthem, emblem, flag) of school media contributes to the formation of a single team, the way of life; development and preservation of traditions.

Features of the educational system of boarding schools, orphanages

Orientation of pupils on social adaptation, their preparation for independent life. Active psychological support of the educational system with the involvement of qualified specialists. Overcoming the imbalance of rights and responsibilities of students in these institutions. Creating a so-called warm institution. In it, each student must find their place of self-realization: in the activities of the school museum, local history work, school theater, asset camp, business game, children’s public association, etc.

Features of the educational system of a rural school

Educational work in a rural school should contribute to the education of a citizen who is able and willing to work successfully, and above all – in the countryside; providing education, general cultural level of personal development and individual characteristics of each student.

This goal can be specified in the following tasks:

formation of harmonious and holistic ideas in students about the values ​​of material and spiritual culture, about different spheres of art, economic, legal, communicative culture, culture of family relations, etc.; to teach students to combine activities in agriculture with a careful attitude to the environment as the basis of human life; formation of ecological consciousness as an internal regulator of students’ behavior in the natural environment.

An integral part of the education of a rural schoolchild is the training of the landlord, cultural worker of the village, competitive, able to organize a profitable business in the village, which is possible only with the organization of such areas in the work:
